About Fake or Fine?
Fake or Fine? is a daily game about scam messages. Family members forward you five messages a day. One might be a parcel notice or a bank alert. You decide if each is fake or fine. Some are real, so the answer isn't always fake. The game is in beta.
How to play
- Open a chat and read the forwarded message.
- Tap Fake or Fine.
- If it was fake, tap the words that give it away. Look for a strange link or a rush.
- Read what to do. For example, check in the official app and never share an OTP.
- After the third message, a scam call comes in. Hang up to score a point.
What it practises
It practises spotting the signs of a scam before you act. You'll see the same tricks again and again. They include pressure, odd links and requests for codes. It also teaches you the safe move for each one.
