About Geo Construct
Geo Construct is a shape-building puzzle about perimeter, area and angles. Each level is an order. It might be a fence of a set length. It might be a floor of a set area. It might be a circle or an angle. You shape it to match the order, then press Build it.
How to play
- Read the order at the top. It names the number you need to reach.
- Drag the round handles, or tap the grid to move a corner. The plus and minus buttons change one side.
- Early levels show a running total. Later levels hide it, so you work it out yourself.
- Press Build it. A miss tells you how far off you were. Then adjust and try again.
What it practises
It has 22 levels in six chapters. They are Fences, Floors, Fence and Floor, Triangles, Circles and Angles. It practises the link between perimeter and area. A fence can stay the same length while the floor changes. You earn 3 stars by building it right first time.
Questions
- How do I find the area and perimeter of a rectangle?
- Perimeter is the distance around the edge. Area is width times height. The first chapters let you see both change as you drag.
- Can I practise geometry online for free?
- Yes. Geo Construct is free, and you build shapes by hand. Later levels hide the total so you can check your own maths.
- Does it cover circles and angles?
- Yes. Circles and angles have their own chapters. On angle levels, being 5° off costs a star.
