About X/O Infinity
X/O Infinity is tic-tac-toe with one twist. Each player can keep only three marks on the board. When you place a fourth, your first one disappears. So the board keeps changing. A safe plan can fail on your next turn.
How to play
- Choose Entropy for the vanishing marks, or Classic for the usual game.
- Choose to play the computer or a friend on the same device.
- Tap a square to place your mark. Small dots show how many moves each mark has left.
- Place a fourth mark and your first one vanishes.
- Be first to get three in a row.
What it practises
It makes you think a few moves ahead, and also about what will vanish. The computer has three levels called Novice, Apprentice and Master. Master takes a win when it sees one and blocks yours.
