How to play
- One guesser holds the phone sideways on their forehead, screen facing out. They can't see the word; everyone else can.
- Everyone else describes it without saying the word, or acts it out.
- Got it? Nod, tipping the screen down. Stuck? Tip it back to pass and get a new word.
- When the time runs out, see how many you got. Then hand the phone to the next guesser.
Tilting, or tapping
Tilting uses your phone's motion sensor. The first time, the game asks for one practice nod, because phones don't all agree on which way is down. iPhones ask you to allow motion first. If your device has no sensor, or you'd rather not, tap instead: the right half of the screen for Got it, the left half to pass.
Tips
- Describers: no saying the word, no "sounds like", no spelling it. Acting it out is fine.
- Guessers: pass quickly when you're stuck. A new word is faster than a hard one.
- The screen stays on during a round, and the game goes full screen where the browser allows it.
