About Pixel Flood

Pixel Flood is a colour puzzle. You own the top-left square. Each move, you pick a colour. Your patch turns that colour. It takes every touching square of that colour. Fill the whole board before your moves run out.

How to play

  1. Choose a level: Easy, Medium, Hard or Extreme.
  2. Tap one of the six colour buttons. Your patch changes to that colour.
  3. Touching squares of that colour join your patch.
  4. Watch the moves counter. It starts at 22 on Easy and 55 on Extreme.
  5. Fill the board in time to win. Spare moves earn up to three stars.

What it practises

It practises planning a few moves ahead. Hints show how many squares each colour would add, and you can turn them off. You can also share a challenge link to the exact same board. Each new board has a random start, so no two games feel the same.

How many moves do I get?
Easy has 22 moves on a 10 by 10 board. Medium has 30, Hard has 40, and Extreme has 55.
What is the best strategy?
Head for the far corner. A patch that stretches across the board reaches more squares than a round blob.
